They were flavour of the month in the NME some time in 1981. I should have taken that as a warning but, to be fair, I only bought my first Joy Division record to see what all the fuss was about so you win some, you lose some.
I never understand (and will keep grinding on about it in almost any XTC posting - why Andy Partridge seems to be so underrated and Elvis Costello so overrated by music mags.
How many new bands cite XTC as an influence? Hundreds that's how many!
How many list Elvis Costello as influence? - Never seen anyone mention his name.
I just came across this. My lord... live footage of XTC playing my favorite song from Nonsuch. Brilliant. Just brilliant. Thank you so much for posting this. You made my day.
All tracks are for sampling purposes only and are available for a limited amount of time. If you like the music, please support the artist by purchasing their music. If you are representing an artist and want a track removed, contact me and it will be done.

For this I forgive you Rip Rig & Panic.
Forgive me for posting them or forgive me for being negative about them?
