Stunning. I remember it so well...

But I never found it scary, creepy or disturbing.

Perhaps it was then, subconsciously, that I knew I was going to be the one at school who liked the 'weird' music.....

I remember the next day at school after this had been shown, everyone talking about "That weird band with Hitler playing the piano."

You're right, Kevin. That happened from time to time on TOTP. One other big talking point I remember was the first appearance of Boy George. I actually missed it but everybody was talking about it the next day.

Ahhhh the days when people talked about Top of the Pops the next day at school

Other TOTP talk about the next day memories include... The Sex Pistols, Queen...That video Again !, How crap it became when it turned into a disco with an audience of dancers fighting to get on the telly in front of the artists, and Gary Numan Coming on screen as my father sat down to watch.... "look at the bloody state of him !"

I've thought of another one...but I'm saving it for another post.

Amazing .. one of those TOTP jaw-dropping moments. I sent a International Post Order to the U.S. so I could join their fan club! Got a letter back from Los Angeles or something...

See? Hitler didn't commit suicide in Berlin in 1939... he escaped through a wormhole, landed in Los Angeles in 1972 and joined Sparks as a keyboard player. Mystery solved :)
